Course Summary
The Online Workplace Pandemic Training Course is an e-learning module that teaches practical measures to prepare staff for a pandemic influenza outbreak. The online workplace pandemic training course has been developed in collaboration with medical specialists in public health and the Australian Homeland Security Research Centre.
This course answers the following questions:
- What is a pandemic influenza?
- How can I protect myself and others?
- What social behavioural, personal hygiene and social distancing measures are recommended?
- What are the signs and symptoms of pandemic influenza?
- What is the Australian Government doing?
The courses takes approximately 25 minutes and is supported by multi-choice questions, interactive exercises and practical worksheets.
